I have been raising the Channa bream for two years.
Just like that, it has grown to nearly 15cm in length, and its appearance and condition are very healthy. If it is hungry for a few days, it can still be teased. It will interact with you, but it is basically an offensive interaction. I used to buy abalone fish food to feed it, but now I basically feed it with koi fish food. I feel no difference, and the palatability seems to be better. This thing can really eat and poop. Fortunately, it prefers a stable environment with old water, so water changes don’t need to be so frequent. Basically, when cleaning the bottom of the tank every half a month, you can pump out the water and add new water. It is hardy, easy to raise, and interactive, which is pretty good!
